Tips
- Per the City's official A.R.S. § 9-835 Building Permit Processing Time Frames document, 'Residential Building – New' carries a 1-business-day Administrative Completeness Review, 5 business days for 1st plan review, and 5 more for 2nd review if needed — 11 business days overall (6 days minimum if no 2nd review is required).
- The Fee for all Permits includes the Plan Check (up to 3 resubmittals) and 2 inspections per phase — additional resubmittals or re-inspections beyond that are billed at $50/hour (1/2-hour minimum).
- Building valuation is refreshed at the start of each fiscal year using the February ICC Building Safety Magazine valuation data, so the exact dollar breakpoints in the Building Permit Fee table can shift year to year.
