Tips
- Check the City's 'Work Exempt from Permits' bulletin before applying — many small residential projects (sheds ≤200 sq ft with no utilities, small decks, siding, window replacement without structural change) need NO building permit at all in Delta.
- Fences and retaining walls ≤4 feet do not require a City building permit in Delta, though fence height/construction rules under Municipal Code 15.04.060 and 17.04.240 still apply.
