Tips
- Line up sign-off from ALL of the utility providers named directly on the application (DMEA, CenturyLink, Charter/Spectrum, Black Hills Energy, and the City's own Municipal Light & Power, Water, and Sewer divisions) before submitting — the form itself has a dedicated line for each one.
- Demolition of fences, carports, exterior porches, or any building under 600 sq ft does NOT require this permit at all.
- The City's Building Department page also references a separate State demolition permit requirement — confirm with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment whether your project needs that in addition to the City's $15.00 permit.
