Plumbing Permit in Haxtun, Colorado
Required for plumbing installation, alteration, or repair in Haxtun. Governed by the 2021 International Plumbing Code (IPC) as locally adopted and amended (HMC § 150.10, Ord. 2025-1). Unlike electrical work, the Town's own permit application does not direct plumbing to a state inspector — plumbing is reviewed/inspected under the Town's own adopted code and validated by the Town's Building Inspector.

Tips
- Unlike electrical, Haxtun's own permit form contains no language directing plumbing inspections to the State of Colorado — plumbing appears to be reviewed and inspected locally under the Town's own adopted 2021 IPC.
- Budget for the Town's water and sewer tap fees ($2,000 each) separately from the plumbing permit fee itself if a new utility connection is required.
