Tips

Frequently asked questions

Does a commercial TI always require a Certificate of Occupancy?
A new or revised Certificate of Occupancy is required if the occupancy type or use changes, or if the space is a new tenant who has not previously occupied it. Cosmetic-only renovations that do not change occupancy may not require a new CO.
