Applies to: Zoning Verification Letter / Certificate of Occupancy Inspection (Planning & Engineering)

   Final Inspection (Certificate of Occupancy and Zoning Compliance)

   A certificate of occupancy and zoning compliance is issued by the city administrator or a designee only after the property development/building is completed and has passed final inspection, per § 13-1-9.

   Certificate of Occupancy Inspection (Planning/Engineering)

   Site-level Planning/Engineering inspection verifying compliance with approved development conditions, distinct from the Building Division's own final inspection. First reinspection is included at no charge; each additional reinspection is $75.00.

   Temporary Certificate Bond-Release Inspection

   Where a temporary certificate was issued against a cash bond (100%/150% of estimated completion costs, per § 13-1-9), an inspection must be scheduled with city staff to confirm all zoning/site plan/other approval conditions have since been met before the bond is released and permanent occupancy/use is granted.

Applies to: Commercial Tenant Improvement / Tenant Finish Permit
