  • Design must account for local criteria: 115 mph wind speed (Exposure C), Seismic Site Class B, 30 psf ground/roof snow load, 42-inch minimum frost depth
  • All applications submitted through the City of Laramie Civic Access online portal

  • Laramie adopted the 2024 ICC code cycle effective September 1, 2024 — confirm the current adopted edition with Code Administration, as bulletins are updated periodically (Bulletin #2 was last revised February 2026).
  • Design wind speed (115 mph, Exposure C) and 42-inch frost depth are notably different from Cheyenne (Laramie County) — do not reuse Cheyenne's design criteria for Laramie projects.
  • Contractors must hold a City of Laramie contractor license (since 2021) in addition to any Wyoming state license — this is separate from and in addition to state licensing. Contractor
