    Open Hole Letter sent to Building Inspection before footing inspection; soils engineer verification of footing/foundation type on file; rebar tied before concrete pour

    Foundation Wall

    After forms and rebar tied, before concrete placed

    Damp-Proofing / Drain Tile

    Before backfill placed around foundation or crawl space walls

  4. 4

    Underground Plumbing

    After all underground waste/vent/water piping installed and under test, before backfill/concrete

  5. 5

    Sill Plate

    When sill plate and sill seal are bolted in place, before floor system installed

  6. 6

    Rough Plumbing / Rough Electric / Rough Mechanical / Gas

    After respective waste/vent/water piping, wiring/boxes, venting/ductwork, and gas piping are installed and (for gas) under air test

  7. 7

    Exterior Vapor Barrier, Windows & Doors Flashing, Rough Framing

    After rough MEP/gas inspections complete, roofing done, framing and fire blocking complete, structure weather-tight

    Insulation

    After framing, before drywall on walls (sprayed ceiling insulation inspected at final)

    Sewer and Water

    After sewer and water lines installed, before backfill

    Final / Certificate of Occupancy

    Prior to moving furnishings into the building; tap fees must be paid when the permit is issued
