- Building permit required for new homes, room additions, remodels, garages, carports, patios, decks, workshops, barns, sheds, and residential electric service panel work within Eagar town limits
- Two plot plans required showing accurate lot delineation, location of all existing structures, and location of the proposed structure, observing all required setbacks and easements
- Two sets of plans and specifications required, including footing detail, framing detail, roof detail, truss layout, truss detail, and elevations; all plan pages/copies must have the owner/builder's name and phone number printed on them Owner-builder

- A copy of the septic permit is required when applicable (applicant must check Septic or Sewer on the application)

- Per the Town of Eagar Residential Building Permit Application: 'Approval shall normally be given within 6 working days after application is received. If there is any delay beyond 15 working days, a letter of explanation shall be sent to the applicant.'
- Building official may require additional inspections beyond the standard list.
