Demolition Permit · The Town of Taylor Fee Schedule, effective April 5, 2025 (tayloraz.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2025-Fee-Schedule.pdf), itemizes Building fees for Homes, Garage, Portable Sheds/Containers/Carports, Fences, Plan Review, Commercial/Industrial Buildings-Additions-Repairs, and Other Fees (Electrical-Mechanical-Plumbing, Fire Suppression, Green Tag, Re-Inspection, Solar PV) — but no separate 'Demolition' fee line exists anywhere in the current schedule, even though Demolition is a distinct checkbox on the Building Permit Application. Town of Taylor Municipal Code § 15.05 (codepublishing.com) contains no demolition-specific fee cross-reference, and the Building Permit Application itself (both the 2014 and 2016-revised fillable versions) has no fee schedule printed on it. The charge most likely defaults to the general valuation-based Building Permit Fee structure (75% modifier) applied to demolition work, but the Town has not confirmed this in writing — contact the Building/Zoning Department directly at 928-536-7366 to confirm the exact charge.Sign permit fee · The Town of Taylor Fee Schedule effective April 5, 2025 (tayloraz.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2025-Fee-Schedule.pdf) contains no sign or billboard fee line anywhere in either of its two pages. Sign permit fee · The Town of Taylor Fee Schedule effective April 5, 2025 (tayloraz.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2025-Fee-Schedule.pdf) contains no sign or billboard fee line anywhere in either of its two pages. Its page 1 Building section lists Residential Permits (Homes 75% building code valuation regional modifier; Garage $0.20 per ft2; Portable Sheds, Containers & Carports $25.00; Fence over 6' high or retaining over 4' $25.00; Plan Review under 1500 ft2 $100.00; Plan Review over 1500 ft2 $200.00), Commercial/Industrial Permits (Buildings, Additions or Repairs at a 75% Building Code Valuation Regional Modifier; Plan Review 50% of building permit fee), and Other Fees (Electrical-Mechanical-Plumbing $50.00; Fire Supression System Inspection $500.00; Green Tag $25.00; Re-Inspection $75.00; Solar PV Systems $200.00). Its page 2 Planning & Zoning section lists Zone Change $250.00, General Plan Amendment $250.00, Site Plan Review $250.00, Amendment to Previously Approved Site Plan $150.00, Conditional Use Permit $150.00, Variance $150.00, Temporary Use Permit 3-day $10.00 and Annual $50.00, Amendment to the Ordinance $250.00, Subdivision Review $100.00 charge per lot plus consultant review, and Land Split $25.00. The older 'P & Z Fee Schedule' PDF still linked from the Planning & Zoning page (tayloraz.gov/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/P-Z-Fee-Schedule.pdf) likewise contains no sign line; it lists Zone Clearance $50.00, Zone Change $250.00, General Plan Amendment $250.00, Site Plan Review $250.00, Amendment to previously approved Site Plan $150.00, Cond. Use Permit $125.00, Variance $150.00, Temporary Use Permit $50.00, Amm. To the Ordinence $250.00, Subdivision Review $350.00 and Land Split $150.00 — and several of its figures are superseded by the April 5, 2025 schedule. TTC 18.60.121(G)(4) states billboard permit fees 'shall be established by the governing body of the municipality from time to time' but publishes no figure. Call the Building/Zoning Department at 928-536-7366 for the current sign permit charge rather than assuming one.Fire Supression System Inspection (Town Fee Schedule, Building, Other Fees) · Spelled 'Fire Supression System Inspection' in the source.ed image of page 1 of the Town of Taylor Fee Schedule effective… Show full citationHide

Fire alarm / fire detection system permit · No fire alarm or fire detection line item exists anywhere in the Town of Taylor Fee Schedule effective April 5, 2025 (tayloraz.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2025-Fee-Schedule.pdf) — a genuine absence in the published schedule, both pages of which are accounted for here. Page 1 Building section: Residential Permits (Homes 75% building code valuation regional modifier; Garage $0.20 per ft2; Portable Sheds, Containers & Carports $25.00; Fence over 6' high or retaining over 4' $25.00; Plan Review under 1500 ft2 $100.00; Plan Review over 1500 ft2 $200.00), Commercial/Industrial Permits (Buildings, Additions or Repairs at a 75% Building Code Valuation Regional Modifier; Plan Review 50% of building permit fee), Other Fees (Electrical-Mechanical-Plumbing $50.00; Fire Supression System Inspection $500.00; Green Tag $25.00; Re-Inspection $75.00; Solar PV Systems $200.00). The only other fire-related content in the schedule is a page 2 'Fire Response (rates per hour)' block — Type 1 Engine $159.00, Water Tender $144.00, Brush/Support Unit $98.00, Command Unit $35.00, and personnel rates Chief Officer $56.00, Captain $32.00, Engineer $27.00, Firefighter/CEP $27.00, Firefighter/EMT $24.00 — which is emergency-response cost recovery, not permitting. TSFMD publishes no fee schedule of its own. Contact the Building/Zoning Department at 928-536-7366.Sources & verification
