- Building permit required for additions and remodels affecting structural, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems
- Detached one-story accessory structures (sheds, playhouses, similar) up to 200 sq ft (IRC) or 120 sq ft (IBC) do not require a building permit but still require zoning clearance and a zoning permit
- Painting, papering, tiling, carpeting, cabinets, countertops, and similar finish work do not require a permit
- Plans must comply with City of Winslow Climatic and Geographic Design Criteria (30 psf ground snow load; 115 mph wind speed, Exposure C; 18-inch frost depth)
- Application must include a completed application and three (3) complete sets of scaled plans showing the addition/remodel scope
