- DRB/HOA approval required before submittal if the project includes exterior changes and the parcel is outside Eagle River Estate or Bertroch
- Basement Finish, Residential Ramp, Residential Garage, Patio Cover, and Uncovered Deck projects are each governed by a Town-published 2021 guide document listing scope-specific requirements
- Soils testing and engineered foundation plans required if the addition includes new footings and bearing values test below 1,500 PSF
- All contractors must hold a current Town of Gypsum Contractor's License Contractor

Town of Gypsum Code of Ordinances Sec. 15.01.040(g) (Chapter 15.01, INTERNATIONAL CODES), amending IBC Section 109.2 "Schedule of permit fees". Title 15 was repealed and re-enacted in full by Ord. No. 2023-08, § 1(Exh. A), adopted 2023-06-27; code current through Ord. No. 2025-18, enacted 2026-01-13 (Supp. No. 22). Code text as published on library.municode.com (accessed 2026-08-17). Commercial valuation is set by the most current ICC Building Valuation Data Chart per the same subsection. Per-trade fee tables are codified at Sec. 15.02.020 Table 2 (mechanical), Sec. 15.02.030 Table 3 (plumbing), Sec. 15.02.050 Table 4 (electrical) — mechanical and plumbing both compute as a $60.00 base plus $16.00 per additional increment. Sec. 15.01.040(h) sets permit transfer at 65% of the original building permit fee.Review timeline
