Tips
- A homeowner can wire their own PV system's AC and DC sides without a licensed electrician only if the property is owner-occupied, not for sale/rent, and not open to the public — but the City of Aspen Electric Department's Interconnect Agreement must still be signed and approved before permit issuance regardless of who does the wiring. - A company representative must be on-site for both the rough-in and final inspections to answer inspector questions, per the City's Photovoltaic Solar System Installation Guidelines.
