- Like-for-like storage-tank water heater replacements by an Arizona licensed contractor are exempt from permit (IBC §105.2 item 16 as locally amended). Conversions to tankless systems are not covered by this exemption. Contractor
- Nonpotable water, rainwater collection, reclaimed water, and subsurface irrigation system provisions (IPC §P2910–P2913, P3009) are deleted in their entirety by Gilbert's local amendments.
