- Plans requiring structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing design must be prepared and stamped by a licensed Arizona engineer or architect
- Projects going through Design Review Board must receive approval before construction documents are approved (At-Risk review option available after DR Study Session)

- New commercial projects: 13/8 working-day review goals (1st/2nd); TIs <25,000 sf: 8/4 days; TIs >25,000 sf: 12/8 days. These are A.R.S. § 9-835 max time frames.
- One & Done Self-Certification is available for B, M, S occupancy TIs — only one plan review is performed if the registrant certifies corrections will be made. Must have current ICC building plan review certification and $500K/$1M insurance.
