Tips
- Mechanical is not separately itemized on the Town's 2026 Plan Review Turnaround Times document; as a Miscellaneous permit type it is bound by the Town's A.R.S. § 9-835 Required Timeframe Posting (30 days Administrative Completeness / 60 days Substantive Review / 90-day overall statutory ceiling).
- The Mechanical Permit Fee ($26.75 or $0.02/sq ft, whichever is greater) is the lowest of the three trade-permit base fees (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) in the Town's fee schedule.
- Like-for-like HVAC equipment replacement (same type, same location) does not require the additional site plan/manufacturer specs submittal bundle — only non-like-for-like changes trigger that requirement.
