- Site plan locating all PV equipment on the drawing: PV array, combiner/junction boxes, disconnects, inverters, meter and service panel/tie-in locations, general structure footprint and property-line relation, and a roof plan showing location and physical size of all PV panels, b-vents, attic vents, and plumbing vents
- Manufacturer's specification sheets (cut sheets) with UL listing information for the PV panels, connection boxes, and PV inverter(s)
- Complete 3-line electrical diagram specifying system size (DC-STC nameplate rating), module manufacturer/model/specs (VOC, VMP, ISC, IMP), array specs with temperature-corrected max VOC, number of strings, string fuse rating, conductor sizing, grounding, overcurrent protection/disconnects, inverter specs, and grid interconnection details (AC load panel back-feed breaker rating, bus-bar/main breaker rating, line/load side tap)
- Mounting/racking system details: manufacturer's spec sheets with roof calculations designed for 115 mph wind speed, Exposure Category C, and 30 psf roof snow load per IRC R324.4.1/R324.4.1.1, including fastener type/size/spacing, OR an Arizona-stamped engineer's verification letter if a custom racking system does not span three or more trusses/rafters
- Structural information: size/type/spacing of roof framing members, roof sheathing type/thickness, number of roofing material layers, and whether the array is flush- or tilt-mounted
- Any photovoltaic system 12 kW DC or larger must be stamped by an Arizona-registered engineer
- APS (Arizona Public Service) residential service meter location requirements apply for grid interconnection
