- Electrical permit required for the EV charger circuit installation (adding/altering electric service)
- Governed by the 2017 NEC as adopted by the Town of Prescott Valley (Chapter 7 of the Town Code, effective January 1, 2020)
- A Site Plan with 1-Line Diagram is required for the standard scope of adding, removing, or altering electric
- Electrical services greater than 400 amps require a Site Plan with 1-Line Diagram plus engineering approval/calculations (relevant if a panel/service upgrade is needed to support the charger)
- Proof of Valid Contractor's License and Electric Service Entrance Verification Sheet (if applicable) required at submittal Contractor
