- North Las Vegas uses the 2024 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), not the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Rules differ from IPC cities.
- For a simple water heater replacement: $3 fixture + $75 admin + $100 license inspection fee = $178 minimum for a standalone permit.
- Gas piping work (gas appliance connections, fuel piping) is covered under the Plumbing Permit (Table 3-D) in NLV — not a separate Mechanical Permit.
