Tips
- Footings in Lehi must extend below the frost line — minimum 30 inches per Lehi's published Design Criteria (Lehi City Building and Inspections page).
- Deck guards are required when the deck surface is 30 inches or more above grade per the 2021 IRC.
- Ledger boards must be positively attached with lag screws or through-bolts — nails are not allowed per IRC R507.2.
