Tips
- Logan requires 24-hour notice for ALL inspections; inspection appointments are available Monday–Friday, 9:00–11:00 AM and 1:30–3:30 PM. Call (435) 716-9030.
- Logan's 4-way rough inspection combines framing, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing — all trades must be roughed in and ready at the same time.
- Project value must include total cost of construction, labor, and materials — this is the basis for the permit fee calculation.
- Engineering design requirements: ground snow load 43 lbs/sq ft (elevation-adjusted; see utahsnowload.usu.edu), frost depth 30 inches residential / 36 inches commercial, wind 104 mph Exposure C, seismic zone D1.
- Work in the Logan City Right of Way (driveway approaches, curb/gutter, sidewalk) requires a separate WROW Permit from the Public Works Department.
