Tips
- A pre-submittal meeting is mandatory before any commercial application will be accepted — call 928-532-4040 to schedule; generally one set of conceptual draft plans including a site plan is needed for that meeting.
- The owner/applicant remains responsible for the full commercial plan review fee even if the permit is never issued — this includes any fees the City itself pays to outside/third-party plan reviewers.
- Non-Standard Plan Review for commercial projects specifically implements A.R.S. Title 9, Chapter 7, Article 4 (the state's licensing-time-frame statute); Standard Plan Review is the City's own faster collaborative option at 30 working days.
