    After survey property pins are in place; may be completed with the footing inspection. Building Department.

    Temporary Power

    Footing Inspection

    After footings are dug, formed, and steel is in place, prior to pouring concrete. Soil report must be submitted to the Building Department 24 hours prior to inspection.

    After forms and steel are in place, prior to pouring concrete.

Lindon determines the Building Permit fee using the 1997 Uniform Building Code, Table 1-A, applied to the project's valuation. Valuation is set using the previous February's ICC Building Valuation Data, with single-family dwellings, townhomes, and duplexes valued at 95 percent of the published rate. A separate $500 Building Permit Application Fee (new SFD/SFTH/detached ADU/duplex) or $100 (other residential) is due at submittal, plus a Plan Review Fee (25% of the permit fee for residential) and a 1% state surcharge.

Lindon does not publish its own plan-review turnaround time. Under Utah Code § 10-20-909, Lindon must screen the application for completeness within 3 business days, then complete the plan review of a one- or two-family dwelling or townhome within 14 business days after the screening period ends — a statutory ceiling of 17 business days total.
